Three archaeologists who reside in California [U.S] were on a discovery mission to Africa. They had been roaming the Sahara desert looking for fossils. According to the discovery news, they heard that fossils of extinct species of elephants could possibly be found in the African desert. So they set off to search for fossils in the Sahara desert.

Martins, a tubby man with a bald head, the eldest of the three said to John;

“Dig harder you lazy bone. Haven’t we tried more than you?”

John who was now exhausted, dropped the shovel and went to relax in the Jeep they had parked a few meters away from where they were doing their digging.

“How are we sure what we are looking for is in this region?” he asked his colleagues.

Williams the third archaeologist, a black average height man, well-built and about 27 years of age, got up in anger, picked up the shovel and said angrily;

“I don’t think you would ever be useful for anything!”

He started digging from were John had stopped. Suddenly his shovel struck a hard metal. He dropped the shovel and used his bear hands to clear up the sand, eager to see what the shape of the metal looked liked.

Martins came closer;

“What’s that?”

“I don’t know” Williams replied.

“But I think it’s …..a box.”

“A box!!” said Martins.

“Yes….a box, a metal box.” replied Williams.

He finally cleared up the sand and, with the help of Martins, they both cleared up the old looking box.

“John!!… John!! Come see what we just brought out of the sands.” shouted Martins.

John, who was already fast asleep, got up, ran to meet his friends to see what it was.

“Its!……it’s! A chest” John said.

“Just like the ones in the pirate movies.” Williams replied.

Williams opened it up cleared the dust and sand inside. They found a scroll inside the chest. Williams unscrolled it and saw some words written in Hebrew on it.

After going through it they noticed it was written with an old texture of ink;

“Let’s go back to the hotel.” Williams told them.

He scrolled back the paper, put it under his arm and went straight to the car; while John and Martins both carried the chest with one arm each, following him.

Williams got to the driver’s seat and started the engine. Martins sat next to him while John, the youngest of them, sat at the back. As they drove through the desert heading back to the hotel;

John said “What shall we call our discovery?”
